Meet the Teachers!

Logan is getting ready for his first time ever to go to school! He is so excited and even more so now that he met his teachers. That is one thing I have always loved about Bright Beginnings Preschool, the teachers (both the main teacher and her aide) set up appointments and come to your house to meet your child. How awesome is that to meet the child in their atmosphere first!
I was doing the laundry and Logan came running in, "MomMom, they are at the door" so we headed out to let them in and he gravitated to them immediately. Of course, showing them all of his trains, which I knew would be a must for him. He was being a boy too, he didn't really care what they had to say, just as long as they saw his trains and what each one did!
His teacher is Mrs. Kelly and Mrs. Debbie and both seemed very sweet. Also a plus is that Mrs. Kelly was naming some of his trains, so we have a winner! If you know the names of the Thomas and Friends trains then you have his attention immediately! She was showing him a book she had and asked if he knew what kind of animal was on there (by the way it was a raccoon), he said "a snake"! Wow, our son really knows his animals, hope they don't hold him back for that one! Lol! His friend Caty Beth is in his class, which they have been together in all classes since birth, they are exactly a week apart in age. His friend Jackson is in the other class, but at 2 years old, that really doesn't matter.
We are soooo looking forward to school for Logan this year, as he is just getting too bored at home and I haven't had the time between work to really push him in anything. He thinks that since sissy goes to school, it is time for him to go. Yesterday, when she got in the van he asked "Brooke, did you have a good day?". Do you think he has heard that a time or two??? Then he told her that he misses her! Too sweet, he does miss having her around in the day. When she gets home, he is so excited and wants her to play everything with him. Right now, she does, but once school gets further into the year she will be asking for her alone time again in her room after school. She did this last year and it broke his heart that she did not want to play. What can I say, she is a girl and we need our space every once in a while!

He loved showing Mrs. Kelly and Mrs. Debbie his trains.
And was very excited to hear Mrs. Kelly say that she has trains in the class since her son is outgrowing them. Yeah, Thomas all around!
