We got there with the kids in jeans and immediately they wanted to change since the sun was hot on our bodies! I got them changed and we had a great day just watching the meet and being together. Then of course, we treated ourselves to The Varsity for dinner afterwards! Well worth it! Nothing like pumping our bodies with a little greasy grease every once in a while.
Wow, this blog is changing gears. I first started blogging in 2007 and stopped in 2011 due to life happening. It was originally to help our family and friends keep up with our growing kids. Guess what - they are pretty grown today. We are entering a new phase of life and after the Covid pandemic hit just a lot going on that I want to document.

Bring on the Spring...
Wow, did God deliver or what? Saturday was a BEAUTIFUL day and in the 70's. Now today, we are back in the 40's and in jackets. At least the first day of spring was a beautiful one to share with so many. We went down to GA Tech for a high school track meet, then stuck around for a little while to watch GA Tech and GA compete in a speed meet.

Having our lunch and snacks while watching some running events. We stayed up here for a little while, then went on the other side of the track where the trees are and settled into the hillside with our towels and snacks. It did actually get a little cool under the trees with the breeze blowing, but still beautiful!
