Christmas Day 2007

Wow, another Christmas has come and gone! We really enjoyed this season this year. We enjoyed being together as a family and the understanding that God sent his son, Jesus Christ to us on this day! What a blessing it is!

Yesterday for Christmas Eve, we all (the four of us and Nana and Papa) got up and went to eat breakfast at the Waffle House (Logan and Brooke's favorite). Then we came home for a little while and decided to go to either the JumpZone to let the kids jump some energy out or bowling. Well, the JumpZone was closed so we all went bowling. Needless to say, today we were all pretty sore since we haven't done that in a while.

We had a great time though, then came home, ate supper, Brooke and her Daddy made Santa's cookies, Brooke wrote his letter, she put out the reindeer food, then off to bed. She got us up just before 7am with her tummy hurting, but by the time we came down stairs she forgot about that.

They had a great time opening presents and we enjoyed watching. Then Michael made us all breakfast. Nana and Papa had to start loading up to leave and we took Logan outside to get his John Deer tractor from Nana, Papa and Granny Bob. He got on it and pushed the pedal, and to our suprise did not get scared with it. However, it will take him a little while to learn to keep his foot on the pedal and to steer, but he really enjoyed it. Then Nana and Papa left and we all took naps! We were pooped out! Enjoy another montage with all that went on over the last couple of days.

Christmas is not over yet for these kids. Grandma and Papa John will be here tomorrow midday for a couple of days, then the Disney trip in a few weeks will finally end it for the kids. I will post more of Christmas later. Again, you will have to give the montage time to load when you push play. Enjoy and I hope everyone else had a wonderful Christmas!
