Well, we got to enjoy a weekend of camping with some friends at the end of September thanks to a "Bye" week of football! The best news ever though started out on that Friday, September 24th. Michael texted me that "He got the JOB!" We have been waiting on God's timing for 2 1/2 years despite what some people may have thought, we still felt it was what God had in store for us Michael. It is a half time position teaching Business Ed. Thank you to all who had been praying for us! God does still answer prayers...in HIS timing! We love you all!
Then Friday afternoon we headed out to Moccasin Creek State Park up in Clarkesville, GA with some good friends of ours. We got there a little later, so we set up camp in the dark with a few lanterns and flashlights, but it got the job done.
Saturday, we unloaded the other couples canoe and also rented a little boat and toured Lake Burton, which the park is located on. What a beautiful piece of God's country. I had never been on that lake or even seen it and WOW was it beautiful! We made smores that night and also did a little geo-caching for the first time. We had a great time trying that. Then the rain started late at night and we had a nice little storm! Thank goodness it did not have a lot of wind with it, but it was lightening and thundering all night. The kids slept right through it. We got up early on Sunday morning and threw the kids in the van, while Michael and I just started throwing all the gear in the van. We had a great time!

$3.6 million dollar lake front home! This wasn't even the nicest one, but I would take it.
This was my favorite one!
