The Christmas Season has begun

Wow, it is hard to believe Thanksgiving is over, well as far as a holiday is concerned. We should always give thanks! Now Christmas is so close! I love the holidays once everything is done. Football season is also over for us. We lost in the 3rd round this year to a great team, and God has a plan for our team one day!
We kicked it into 3rd gear after football was over. Although we did have a nice family Thanksgiving with the four of us at home. We went and saw the movie The Blindside, had turkey and all the extras and decorated for Christmas.
Since we are no longer playing ball, we took the opportunity to head back to my home town and see Papa Ray and Granny Bob for Christmas. If we did not take advantage our the time, it would have been into Feb. before we could have made it.
We had a great weekend visiting with both of them. On Saturday morning we got up and headed over to Papa Ray's. He cooked us some yummy breakfast casserole. Of course our children see presents and immediately ask if they are for them! Needless to say that my talk with them before we got out of the van went in one ear and out the other! Sorry Daddy, kids will be kids!

Brooke was soooo excited, she got the Project Runway designer kit with so many pieces to it. She said "this is the most pieces I have ever gotten in one present before!". She has drawn so many designs and is actually getting pretty good with it. She drew on it some on the way home too. Then Mama has to give comments on each drawing.
Logan was super excited to open up a Talking Thomas the Train. This kid cannot have too many Thomas trains. He loves each and every one of them differently. He has almost ran the battery down already! If there weren't so hard, he would love to sleep with them!
Logan talking with Papa Ray and watching cartoons.Brooke drawing a face picture.
Papa Ray with his babies! Thank you Daddy for the wonderful visit and the gifts. The kids really appreciate that. We love you!
After Papa Ray's we went and visited with Granny Cofield for a little bit and played with the puppies. Then headed over to Uncle Lorin and Aunt Angela and played with their cousins for a while. They can't get enough of each other! After that we headed back to Granny Bob's and had a great supper, then my kids start asking about presents again!!! These talks never work do they? Granny Bob has been in need of some new tools, so we tried to set her up a little with that.
The kids were funny opening gifts. They first opened some from my Aunt Donna and it was things that went with the Wii gaming system, which we did not have. Their faces were so funny. Brooke just said, this goes with the Wii. I just told her "oh baby, I guess Aunt Donna did not realize we did not have one. We can take it back and swap it out for something you can play with." Then they kept opening and finally found the Wii. They were pretty excited since I told them we were not getting a Wii!
Excitement!
The Logan Dance!
We even put Granny Bob on that thing and I think she may have to get herself one now! It's addicting!
Surprised at what she did!

Brooke's turn
We got home about 4:30pm today and needless to say we had one tired little boy! He came inside and played a little, then climbed into bed himself and went to sleep for about an hour. All that playing and boxing, which you will see on the video below, he was tired. We laughed so hard at him boxing, he really got into it. We had a great weekend and thank everyone for their love and thank you for the gifts.
